by TheIntimindator27 on August 16, 201010:00 PM. Today was a long day. Well, at least, it felt like one. I'm pretty tired too. I have three things to do tomorrow. I'm going to bed tonight at 11:00 PM; I'm waking up at 6:30 AM, leaving at 8:00 AM to Woodstock, Virginia, arrive around 8:45 AM and take the driver's test for my permit (which I should have done a long time ago), go somewhere to get lunch afterwards, arrive back home around 1:00 PM, head straight to the golf course after getting my things, work until 5:00 PM, leave to go home and eat quickly, then go to school for choir camp from 6:00 until 9:00. Then relax finally/hopefully. I hope I will get the permit; I'm pretty worried. The DMV I'm going to is actually quite small, with few people. So I think I'll do fine. Since I studied a lot.
Today I started out with waking up. I woke up at 9:16 AM AGAIN (pretty strange), ate some breakfast, then relaxed for about 30 minutes. Then I picked up my driver's book, studied that for a good while, taking a few breaks in-between. At 1:00 PM, I started to watch a NASCAR race. It was good, overall Kevin Harvick won the race. I like Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Jeff finished 27th after moving from 36th to 3rd, then getting a flat tire, ruining is race for good, Tony Stewart finished 6th after starting 4th and leading some laps (good day for him), and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., starting 38th, finished 19th. Not the best finish for him; hopefully he can improve. I met two NASCAR drivers; Stacy Compton a while back who drives in the Craftsman Truck Series and Dave Blaney, who drives in the Sprint Cup Series but finishes at the back a lot. I really like him; his daughter, Emma, dated my cousin, Aaron! She and Aaron's brother (my other cousin) Zach were graduating, so I met Dave there. It was cool, I got his autograph. I know where he lives and I could get his number anytime since everyone on my mom's side knows who he is.
I watch a lot of racing things, and Formula One. Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton because they are British, like me. And then Mark Webber, I like team RedBull. Not the drink, the team. I'd choose to either be Australian or 100% American, not 50-50% (American and British). Back on topic, after the race I studied a little bit more (the book). Then we went to the Outback Steakhouse (how funny is that after just talking about it). I had a Applewood Bacon Cheeseburger. It was delicious, since I haven't had a burger for about a week. Or one that well. The movie theatre is right beside it sort of, so sometime I could go to the theatre and then go to eat either at the Outback Steakhouse or Ham's, which is right beside that, and right beside that is Coldstone's Ice Cream, so that could be a good dessert. So a good little line of places right there, I might say.
I studied the book a little when I got back, and now I'm here on Songmeanings. My parents just went to bed, 10:26 PM.
I just noticed there was something I needed to type for work that I haven't typed up. I will do that sometime this week. Right now I'm just paying attention to getting the permit and the choir camp. I wanted to drive back home if I were to get it, but I would have to drive on the interstate. I'd rather not do that first thing.
I just looked out the blinds to see who is still up. Apparently, it's my neighbors across the street and my other neighbor's to my right of the other neighbors. Confusing a little bit.
I'm excited about this cool new game coming up. It's Driver: San Francisco. The company is saying it will come out sometime from January to March in 2011. It looks very realistic, not Gran Turismo 5 good, but very good. There are also other Driver games, the main ones Driver (1999), Driver 2 (2000), Driv3r (2004), Driver: Parallel Lines (2006), Driver 76 (2007), and Driver: San Francisco (2011). Pretty cool; the game in real life would have 335 kilometres (208 miles) of road in real life in Driver: San Francisco. Unfortunately, you can't get out of the car/walk around. That's alright though.
10:41 PM. I going to sleep now, so cheers.
