The last time I saw him? It was almost two months ago. We didn't even talk. It was all just glances recognizing each others presence. I didn't have any inkling that's gonna be the last time that I'll see him at work. And if you know the story, you'll know that I didn't hear from him anymore after that day. As Rico Blanco put it, “parang sandwhich na nasa lunchbox, nawawala. Nabubulok na sa isipan." Or so I thought.
Until last Tuesday.
I don't usually check my email, most of my messages come through the social networks I belong to. On a side note, I've already edited the settings on those sites so it won't pile up in my inbox. Moving on with the story, so last Tuesday I was surfing the net. Tweet-ing, Facebook-ing, Tumblr-ing, etc. when I remembered my blogspot account which I haven't been checking lately (thank you very much Tumblr!). So I logged in and saw that there were two comments awaiting for approval. That made me excited especially that people don't normally check out my blog. The first comment was from a fellow blogger, the second from an anonymous. Mr. Anonymous turned out to be 'the umbrella guy". I don't know whether to thank or curse Google, where he found me. Imagine my suprise when I read that comment and later realized that he probably has read all the things I wrote about him. 'Wont go into details anymore how it went exactly, let me just say that I was greatly overwhelmed. The comment lead me to an email from him, which the contents I won't disclose anymore. Let me just say that it made me feel at peace in a way. Although I still have some questions, I decided not to ask 'em. Simply because the answers won't matter anymore. I'm not bitter in any way. I am never bitter. I amalways hopeful. Happy Valentine's Day guys! Hope you have a good one! :)
