"Hello Little Girl" as written by and Lennon/mccartney....
Hello little girl
Hello little girl
Hello little girl

When I see you everyday
I say, "Mm mm hello little girl"
When you're passing on your way
I say, "Mm mm hello little girl"
When I see you passing by
I cry, "Mm mm hello little girl"
When I try to catch your eye
I cry, "Mm mm hello little girl"

I send you flowers but you don't care
You never seem to see me standing there
I often wonder what you're thinking of
I hope it's me and love love love

So I hope there'll come a day
When you'll say, "Mm you're my little girl"

It's not the first time that it's happened to me,
It's been a long lonely time
And it's funny funny to see that I'm about to lose my mind mind mind

So I hope there'll come a day
When you say, "Mm mm
You're my little girl, mm mm mm
You're my little girl, mm mm mm"
You're my little girl, oh yeah
You're my little girl

Do do do do do

General CommentWasn't this a Buddy Holly song originally? Or am I losing my mind. Well I heaqd a very old scratchy version of it by a very young Beatles and its quite enjoyable to listen to. I don't think Ringo was even with them yet. I think Gerry and the Pacemakers may have covered this song then afterwards, somebody did anyways and went up the charts with it.

General CommentThis is a very early Lennon song. In fact I think it was the first he presented to the Beatles.

General CommentI always liked this one... I thought it was so cute! I find it interesting that not all of their songs were actually recorded by them...

General CommentThis was John's first original song; it was written when he was 18.
During this time, John and Paul were still the Quarrymen and rehearsing at Paul's house.

General CommentPaul's first written song was 'I lost my little girl' and John's 'Hello little girl'. Looks like John found her :)
