"Walk Away" as written by and Joseph Fidler Walsh....
Takin' my time
Choosin' my lines
Tryin' to decide what to do
Looks like my stop
Don't want to get off
Got myself hung up on you

Seems to me
You don't want to talk about it
Seems to me
You just turn your pretty head and walk away

Places I've known
Things that I'm growin'
Don't taste the same without you
I got my self in
The worst mess I've been
And I find myself starvin' without you

Seems to me
Talk all night here comes the mornin'
Seems to me
You just forget what we said and greet the day

I've got to cool myself down
Stompin' around
Thinkin' some words I can't name ya
Meet you half way
Got nothing to say
Still I don't suppose I can blame ya

Seems to me
You don't want to talk about it
Seems to me
You just turn your pretty head and walk away

General CommentThe begining is definately about skating a pool. His taking his time and choosing his lines, and thinkin about what tricks to do. hes gotta stop cause he got hung up on you (the coping).

General Commentgreat guitar work by Joe Walsh, and the double/triple
lead guitars at the end were unique at the time -
the James Gang were basically Joe and a couple
of sidemen, like Creedence Clearwater or Bush

My InterpretationIt's about his relationship with his significant other coming to an end. She doesn't want to talk about it because it's a big deal to her, she's moving on already but he's stuck on her and all the memories of her. That's funny thought about the skating a pool.. hahaha. He's trying to pick his words carefully because he figures it's his last chance.
