"Dead Souls (Joy Division cover)" as written by Ian Kevin Curtis, Peter Hook, Stephen Paul David Morris and Bernard Sumner....
Someone take these dreams away
That point me to another day
A dual personality
A strange but true reality

They keep calling me
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me

Figures from the past stand tall
And mocking voices ring above
Imperialistic house of prayer
Conquistadors who took their share

They keep calling me
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me

General CommentThis song is about telemarketers, because they keep calling Trent and he doesn't like them. Bad telemarketers!!

General CommentThis is actually a remake of a Joy Division song. The lead singer of Joy Division killed himself and you can really see his despair in his lyrics. I think trent did a good job covering this song though the original has more despair in the vocals.

General CommentI love this song - the crow soundtrack is really one of the classics! I think this song is about feeling a calling from your past lives to the point where it's driving you a bit mad.

General CommentI was unaware that nin did a song on "The Crow" soundtrack and it keeps the usual NIN 'sound' brilliantly, :D

General CommentThis one and the one by the cure are what makes the crow soundtrack so damn good. there's other good stuff, but those two are awsome.

General Commentyou got that right, bandit8463! The Crow is my favorite movie. Lots of people think it sucked but I love it to death. Love the soundtrack too. The Cure and NIN are definitely the reason I got the soundtrack! don't talk to me about the sequels though.... lol... :)

General CommentI bougt the soundtrack before I saw the movie. Trent, Cure, and Jane Siberry rock my socks off. Brandon Lee does, also(on a sidenote... never EVER watch his movie Laser Mission.) Helixi, I never knew that.

General CommentThis is a good cover, but Ian Curtis in the deepest of his depression... can't beat that. A shame what happened to him, Joy Division was awesome.

General CommentI love this! My fave cover version, I love songs that create an image or a mini-movie in my head. I feel like I got a shirt Eddie Vedder would wear, some walking boots and a backpack slung around my shoulder, and im walking down this long, dusty, stony and narrow empty road in the arizona desert, with the sun going down, its beautiful, one to play in your car.

General CommentThis song definitely impacts the soundtrack for 'The Crow'... it has the right "mood" to fit in with all of the other songs listed. Even though the acting is kind of lame, 'The Crow' is a phenomenal movie-- one of those that I have to sit down and watch everytime its on.
