"Two Winters Only" as written by and Adrian Jackson Andrew Craighan....
What is it you hope for, even though you are dying?
And even though life is closing your tiny eyes
Why did I leave them all?
I should be with them to die in the same place
The pain I think, should g on forever, For always
But no. Not mine. Not now. My life now begins

Call me what you will, but I'll die for no man, at all
My limbs and the life that spreads from them
Cross my path and you'll suffer like no man before, at all
What I hunger for, is the trial of God

For just two winters only did we live for
My God. What have you become? Dear, dear Lord

We could have changed the world, had you been here with me
Right now
Held you in my arms. In my arms, my love
Jesus wept so man could live forever on earth. In peace
But my tears. They fall for you. Only you

My InterpretationI disagree with the above statement a bit.

The song seems to be about a lover whose family AND loved one are dying. (And it seems not to be a natural death)

Anyway, he says to the lover he would die for no one (not even for her) as he wished only for the trial of God, which God just delivered in the form of their deaths. He, however, admit he will mourn for them for the rest of his life.

And then in the end he admits the pain he feels for her death is so intense he would willingly sacrifice himself for her, and only for her.

General CommentOk..persons family is dying. But he leaves them and then the song goes about him being selfish.
His life begins means that he left his family and started a new life.
I love how they add always someones wine to god and Jesus. Well he dosnt wine to Jesus just say that he is meaningless to him.
