"24 Hours" as written by Sky Ferreira, Justin Louis Raisen and Ariel Zvi Rechtshaid....
The seconds run away, minutes passed
At speeds we can run at
As hours start to fade deep into night
I’m not in the mood for laughing

It’s slipping away
There’s nothing we can do
It’s slipping away
There’s no tomorrow without you

I wish these 24 hours
Would never end
Oh in these 24 hours
Wish the clock had no hand

24 hours
We still have time
For 24 hours
You’re still mine

If this isn't real, just can't deal
In a way you could say I was always a cynic
Hopeful for a while, lost in denial
I wish this could last forever

It’s slipping away
There’s nothing we can do
It’s slipping away
There’s no tomorrow without you

It’s slipping away
There’s nothing we can do
It’s slipping away
There’s no tomorrow without you

I wish these 24 hours
Would never end
Oh in these 24 hours
Wish the clock had no hand

24 hours
We still have time
If 24 hours
You’re still mine
I wish these 24 hours
Would never end

I I
I I
I won’t tell no one
I won’t tell no one
I won’t tell no one
Cause in 24 hours
Cause in 24 hours
You’ll be gone
You’ll be gone
You’ll be gone
In 24 hours

In 24 hours
We still have time
For 24 hours
You’re still mine
I wish these 24 hours
Would never end

I wish these 24 hours
Would never end
Oh in these 24 hours
Wish to forget nothing

My Interpretationenjoying a state of temporary, romantic bliss. the sadness comes from knowing it’s fleeting - "if this isn't real / just can't deal / i wish this could last forever"

My Interpretationthis song reminds me about a guy I loved so so very much. The last day I got to spend with him, I was counting down the hours I had left with him - not because I wanted to leave, but because I knew I was going to miss him when I had to hit the airport the next day in the AM.

It's a slow death when you have to leave your significant other thousand miles away, I really wished the clock had no hands and I think this is what the song is all about - not wanting to leave *that one person's arms*.

Song MeaningIt's about the feelings one has during the 24+ hour period without sleeping. Euphoria quickly turns to shite. One wishes the former lasted 24 more hours.
