Know I done wrong
Left your heart torn
Is that what devils do?
Took you so low
Where only fools go
I shook the angel in you

Now I'm rising from the ground
Rising up to you
Filled with all the strength I found
There's nothing I can't do

I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?
I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?
I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?
I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?

Can you love me again?

It's unforgivable
I stole and burnt your soul
Is that what demons do?
They rule the worst of me
Destroy everything
They bring down angels like you

Now I'm rising from the ground
Rising up to you
Filled with all the strength I found
There's nothing I can't do

(Alright)
I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?
I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?

Alright
Can you love me again?

Oh, I told you once, I can't do this again
Do this again, oh Lord
I told you once, I can't do this again
Do this again, oh Lord

I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?
I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?
I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?

Can you love me again?
Can you love me again, oh
Can you love me again?

    My Interpretation

He has done something wrong to her. He has hurted her. He really feels bad (compares himself with devils and demons) But now, he regrets his actions and he wants to fix everything. He's rising from the crowd. But he needs to know if she can love him again. If it's worth enough to fight for..

He sings "They brang down angels like you" instead of "They blame on angels like you".

Its clearly to hear and makes more sense also.

It's an apology song to an ex lover. Opens up saying acknowledging what he did was wrong and hes sorry. Begs her to love him again meaning they most likely broke up but he's back to win her over. It's a nice track to unwind though hurts if u have been in a breakup of a similar situation..

Sometimes I feel like three-year olds are lurking on this site, why would you even ask what this is about ! When you love somebody there's only one thing that could make you not love them again! Only one thing that rips your heart out ,crushes your dreams and pounds you down lower than you have ever been before. My man could steal ,talk trash hell even crash my car and at the end of the day I will always love him! Truth be told he did have an affair and I still love him. I think about him being unfaithful every now and again. The only thing that could make it worse is having him write a song about it so I would remember it all the time. It's no wonder when he went and asked his girlfriend to love him again she said fuck no. I love this song but every time I hear it reminds me of my horrible past! Which is a place I refused to go!!! To all the internet 3yr olds- Love Stacy1979

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
