Say it all
Just get it all off your chest
Shake it up
Five-hundred-thousand times
Say no more
We don't believe anything
Teenage angst
Come all ages

Baby, show me where to go
Some things I don't wanna know
Baby, tell me if you're sure
Out all the time

Say it all
I'm not awake anymore
Change my mind
Two-thousand times before
Seen a knight
Dance on the side of the road
Teenage angst
Come all ages

Baby, show me where to go
Some things I don't wanna know
Baby, tell me if you're sure
Out all the time

Feeling dizzy now
In the running show
All I want to see
All I want to know
Watch you as you stay
Faces at your door
Waitin' for your piece
Pull the trigger please

Baby, show me where to go
Some things I don't wanna know
Baby, tell me if you're sure
Out all the time
'Cause I don't wanna see
Everybody get together
Leave these dreams alone
You don't wanna have to tell me
That I wanted you to fall
Everybody needs a shadow, oh, oh

    My Interpretation

I'm going to share with you the meaning of the song but it doesn't mean i'm right. It's just my opinion. When I read the meaning of the song somehow I could relate to it because I have experienced it few years ago. So no offends everyone. Pls forgive me.

Basically the meaning of the lyrics in my understanding in happy ending by the strokes is about unrequited love. A boy fall in love with a girl. He really loves her and to him the girl is his whole world. He try a lots of time to get her but everything is in vain. So in the end he gave up because he thought there is no way they are fated together and he want the girl to leave her because he believe he's out of time because he have wasted lots of time but it's really hard for him to leave. He wants to give up but at the same time he really want to stay. he waits for her but he really want to go. Sometime he wish she would be there for him to catch him when he fall. Sometime he wish that girl love him but he knows that is an illusion he created. Sometime he can't take it. he feel he's losing his mind for this girl but he knows it an illusion. It's a lie. He wish when he disappear that girl would comeback but he knows that would never happen. he really need somebody. he's blaming everything around him when things get hard such as his love life. Something like that. btw tinterpret you're right, all of the song are connected about his life, every song track of it.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
