If there's any more living to live
The life that's left in me I'm ready to give
If there's anything more I can do
Then tell me now, my love, I'll do it for you

'Cause you're my everything, everything under the sun
You're my everything, heaven and earth rolled in one
After you I want nothing, nothing at all, oh yeah
I really do believe, everything
Even the air I breathe
Everything under the sun

Now I see the world that I hunger for
I see it through your eyes, no, not like before
Everywhere I go, all that I see
Did not exist until you showed it to me

'Cause you're my everything, everything under the sun
You're my everything, heaven and earth rolled in one
After you I want nothing, nothing at all, oh yeah
I really do believe, everything
Even the air I breathe
Everything under the sun

I need you baby
I need and love you baby
I need and love you and I want you
I need and love you and I want you baby,

Boy meets girl, boy surrenders himself to girl in complete servitude. Because she's everything under the sun. To him.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
