Mu kodu on punaste pihlakate all
iidne Alutaguse ja Taevaskoja
mu kodu on langenud linnusevall
ja pesas sirguvad linnupojad

Mu kodu on rannakivid ja luited
Sinimed ja kuulus Mahtra
sgisel lindude kurblikud hiked
ja neid saatvad kuldsed vahtrad

Mu kodu on hmarik ja koit
ja esimene trkav kevadlill
s kumav jaanitule loit
kiigeliste laulud ja torupill

Ka selged allikad ja Peipsi rand
ning sngiserval istuv ema hea
hommikuudus metsatukad
ja isa halliks linud pea

Kodu on pilved ja taevavlv
muistsed Tarbatu ja Lindanisa
kodust saab alguse lapseplv
kodu on Eesti ja mina ise

See kik on koduks mulle
oma sdame andnud ma tal
need read ma phendan Sulle
mu kodu on punaste pihlakate all.

The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
