The core principle of freedom
Is the only notion to obey
The formula of evolution and sin
Leading the way

The rebirth is near completion
As we slowly awaken from slumber
As we slowly awaken from slumber

The malpractice of the spirit ends
Gateways!
When the gift is once again attained
Gateways!
No rules or restraints are longer valid
Gateways!
When the ancient future is reclaimed
Gateways!

No rules or restraints are longer valid
Gateways!
When the ancient future is reclaimed
Gateways!

It's all there for the eye that can see
The blind ones will always suffer in secrecy
For it is the omen
Of what lies submerged
Untouched within us

The core principle of freedom
Is the only notion to obey
The formulae of evolution and sin
Leading the way

The rebirth is near completion
As we slowly awaken from slumber
To receive the light that shines in darkness
The light that shines forevermore
Forevermore!

Be the broken or the breaker
Be the giver or the undertaker
Unlatch and open the doors
Be the healer or the faker
The keys are in your hands
Realize you are your own sole creator
Of your own masterplan

Be the broken or the breaker
Be the giver or the undertaker
Unlatch and open the doors
Be the healer or the faker
The keys are in your hands
Realize you are your own sole creator
Of your own masterplan!

Farbeyond, I only did the last verse. I think your lyrics sound mostly right, except for "Realize you are the source of all creation"....she's pretty clear in that part and says "Realize you are your own sole creator". She doesn't say "the source" at all. She says 'sole' like "so-ohl" in two parts like that. But great job on the rest of the song.

    My Interpretation

This song deals with the subject of astral planes (a plane of existence postulated by classical, medieval, oriental & esoteric philosophies and mystery religions). The Divine Comedy a book by author/poet Dante Alighieri comes to mind (Dante's heavens & hells symbolized the astral spheres and their associated virtues & vices).

farbeyond has it right for the most part, but it he definitely says "GATEWAYS" not "CAN'T ARISE"

@FarBeyond: I have the CD booklet at home, and it's actually in front of me right this minute, and I'm afraid your lyrics do not correspond with what's written in my booklet.

    Song Meaning

I agree with the line "Realize you are your own sole creator" and not with "the source of all creation" or whatever crap that was. The whole song is based on the belief of Egotheism, which is the deification of oneself and or the belief that all life is formed from a collective energy (a "God" if you will). Instead of a divine being creating each life, that particular life chose to break away from the energy thus "creating" itself and by lesser terms making itself it's own creator and "God". As the song also mentions Egotheism also means that having also created yourself willingly, you have predetermined your life and existence before you were "born" (this is what is commonly referred to as Destiny). Hope this helps enlighten those curious about the meanings of this song. But all in all a very good song.

hahaha, why would someone submit only the last verse? Desperate to be the first to post lyrics or something? Pretty fucking retarded.

    These lyrics are wrong.

    Here:

The cruel origins of freedom Have longed the notion to die This door will allow evolution of sins Bringing new way The rebirth is the year of completion As we slowly awaken from slumber As we slowly awaken from slumber

The men break this and the spirit ends Can't arise While the gift is hard to get acclaimed Can't arise No rules are restraints on our new planet Can't arise While the ancient future is reclaimed Can't arise No rules are restraints on our new planet Can't arise While the ancient future is reclaimed Can't arise

Its all there for the eyes that can see The blind ones will always suffer in secrecy Praise the omen oh what lives have (perished/purged) And have been true to us

The cruel origins of freedom Have longed the notion to die This door will allow evolution of sins Bringing new way The rebirth is the year of completion As we slowly awaken from slumber Till we see the light that shines in darkness The light that shines forever more Forever more

Be the broken or the breaker Be the giver or the undertaker Unlock and open the door Be the healer or the breaker The keys are in your hands Realize you are the source of all creation Of your own master plan Be the broken or the breaker Be the giver or the undertaker Unlock and open the door Be the healer or the breaker The keys are in your hands Realize you are the source of all creation Of your own master plan

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
