Take me, I'm alive
Never was a girl with a wicked mind
But everything looks better when the sun goes down

I had everything
Opportunities for eternity
And I could belong to the night

Your eyes
Your eyes
I can see in your eyes
Your eyes

You make me wanna die
I'll never be good enough
You make me wanna die
And everything you love will burn up in the light
And every time I look inside your eyes
You make me wanna die

Taste me, drink my soul
Show me all the things that I shouldn't know
When there's a blue moon on the rise

I had everything
Opportunities for eternity
And I could belong to the night

Your eyes
Your eyes
I can see in your eyes
Your eyes
Everything in your eyes
Your eyes

You make me wanna die
I'll never be good enough
You make me wanna die
And everything you love will burn up in the light
And every time I look inside your eyes
You make me wanna die

I would die for you, my love
My love
I would lie for you, my love
My love (you make me wanna die)
I would steal for you, my love
My love (you make me wanna die)
And I would die for you my love, my love
We'll burn up in the light
And every time I look inside your eyes
I'm burning in the light, look inside your eyes
I'm burning in the light, I look inside your eyes
You make me wanna die

    My Interpretation

Haha so Taylor Momsen will probably hate me for this, but I can't help but think this song could be on the Twilight soundtrack. Lame, I know, but let me explain...

Take me, I'm alive I never was a girl with a wicked mind But everything looks better when the sun goes down

(Bella as a human thinking about how before she met Edward she never would have found herself drawn to wicked stuff, but now she despises the sun because it means Edward can't be outside. And "take me, I'm alive" could mean "bite me, I'm human".)

I had everything, opportunities for eternity And I could belong to the night

(Perhaps this song could be set during New Moon after Edward has left her and Bella is thinking about what she could have had if he would've just turned her. These two lines are what first made me think this song could be about a human and a vampire.)

Eyes, your eyes I can see in your eyes, your eyes

(Think of the Cullen's golden eyes vs. the "evil" vampires' blood red eyes.)

You make me wanna die I'll never be good enough You make me wanna die

(If this is set during the first book, then "you make me wanna die" could mean "I want to be a vampire too, because I'll never be good enough as a human", but if set during New Moon, then it could be how Bella felt after Edward left, when she basically curled up into a ball on the forest floor and wished she were dead because she thought she wasn't good enough.)

And everything you love Will burn up in the light

(I guess this part can't be a literal interpretation because Twilight vampires don't burn up in the sunlight like your traditional vamps, but maybe it's saying that if Edward is spotted by a human in the light and the Cullen's "sparkly" secret gets out, then everything they have worked for "will burn up" and they'll have to move out of Forks.)

Taste me, drink my soul Show me all the things that I shouldn't know When there's a new moon on the rise

(Taste me is obvious... Edward craves her blood all the time because Bella is his "singer" or whatever. The second line could refer to Edward showing Bella his world, which she shouldn't know about, or it could refer to Jacob showing her how to ride a bike/be a badass in New Moon.)

Wow, I can't believe I just wasted all that time posting this! Way to procrastinate... But awesome song even if it is about Twilight (which I highly doubt, since it has more of an edgy feeling to it and Taylor doesn't seem like your typical teenage girl).

Can't wait for their album to come out in June!

This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
