I got a girl that stays in the valley,
takes trips to Maui,
and shops in an Audi
never gets jealous when other girls would crowd me,
but told me if I ever cheat once, she outtie
I know I messed up with my other chick,
but this chick she ain't nothin like my other chick,
she beautiful but then the same time confident,
we talk about smart shit like politics
while other girls look through your phone and email,
she make dates with me to shop retail
see other girls don't make her scared
because she handle her biz so I won't go nowhere

whatever that girl do my girl do times two,
so thanks for everything like two-one fool,
but I don't need you, yeah I don't need two,
just hear what I'm spittin is true

see Imma love her till the suns stops shining,
till the clock stops ticking,
till the moon doesn't come out at all
Imma love her till the birds stop singing,
till the ocean runs dry,
till the summer's not followed by fall
Imma love her till the wind dont blow,
till the fish don't swim,
till the mountains they nowhere as tall,
cause Imma love her forever..
forever ever, ever ever.....

she gives me more not the less,
we always gone be together whatevers best,
I told that we need eachother or it's a mess,
I got her name on my chest she got my name on her breast
permanent is permanent, no henna,
I'm comin off tour, she cookin me a dinner,
whenever I'm down she be sayin I'm a winner,
so the chances of us breakin up are gettin slimmer..
yeah, she's the ollie to my skateboard,
the pad to my pen,
they told me to calm down and I may need to date more,
but who the hell is them, and who the hell is they
cause they say that we don't know,
and for that reason we won't grow,
but I tell them hell no, we won't go,
and as far as you, I'm needing some more

cause Imma love you till the suns stops shining,
till the clock stops ticking,
till the moon doesnt come out at all
Imma love you till the birds stop singing,
till the ocean runs dry,
till the summer's not followed by fall
Imma love you till the wind dont blow,
till the fish don't swim,
till the mountains they nowhere as tall,
cause Imma love you forever..

there's no misconception to say she's perfection,
the object of my affection with no question
no guessin, no fights, no argument,
what you meant, then there ain't no stressin..
cause she don't ever ever lie,
she is my heart, she would never ever die
but if she do, bet I'm goin with her,
I won't spend my life on this earth bein bitter
I don't need two girls at my house like John Witter,
I don't need no girl who dresses like prom pictures,
see this girl loves me for me yeah me for me is that hard to see?

whatever that girl do my girl do times two,
so thanks for everything like two-one fool,
but I don't need you, yeah I don't need two,
just hear what I'm spittin is true

see Imma love her till the suns stops shining,
till the clock stops ticking,
till the moon doesn't come out at all
Imma love her till the birds stop singing,
till the ocean runs dry,
till the summer's not followed by fall
Imma love her till the wind dont blow,
till the fish don't swim,
till the mountains they nowhere as tall,
cause Imma love her forever..

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
