Velkommen til mafia rekruttering
Her er alle under læring
Så ta godt i mot presten
For alle vil bli med på suksessen
så lenge det er penger
så lenge det er penger i bildet

Me blir større og større for kver dag
Me representerer alle sosiale lag

Me begynner å bli mange
Me har folk over heile landet
Det er ingenting som å sjå når de promenerer
Enkelte reagerer, men andre applauderer
og det er sånne som oss

Me tar dag for dag
konstruerer svar
gjer deg alt du vil ha
tenk strategi, tenk strategi
Åh du er i mine hender kva enn som skjer
La meg få din stemme. Eg ber på mine ker
Åh du har så mange ting i vente
Bli med på suksessen
Sei til venner og kjente
de kan bli med på prosessen

Here is a rough translation of the lyrics. I used brackets around the word "negativly" as the direct translation would be "some people react". However, I see it as meaning that they react negativly. I also used brackets to display both the direct translation and what I see as the better sounding translation, seperated by a vertical bar. My english isn't great, but it has to be better than any translation from Google Translate or similar services. Well... Here it is:

Welcome to mobrecruitment Here, everyone is undergoing training So give a warm welcome to the priest 'Cause everyone wants to be a part of the success as long as there are money as long as there are money, in the picture

We grow stronger and stronger every day We represent every social class from the top of the pyramid and down I look at you I look at you. You are just like us

'Cause there will be revolution when you see people converting to another religion. And for those who don't believe in me today... It's a part of the process

Everything you've heard about us is true We are becoming large in numbers We have people all over the country There are nothing like seeing them march Some people react [negativly], while others applaud and that are people like us

We take it day by day constructing answers give you everything you want think strategy, think strategy You are [in my hands|under my protection] whatever happens Let me have your voice. I'm on my knees begging Oh, you have a lot of things [waiting for you|in store] Come join the success Tell your friends and people you know that they can take part in the process

An attempt at improving the translation: (Please note I may have lost some of the nuances, as I do not speak the original language)

Welcome to the Mafia recruitment! Here, we are all being taught, So please welcome our preacher! For all want to be part of the success, As long as there is money, As long as money is in the picture. [Note: Preacher was substituted for priest because of the connotation that the speaker is "preaching" the word of the Mafia]

We grow stronger and stronger with each day, We represent all social classes, from the top of the pyramid down. I see it in you, I see it in you, You are like us.

For there will be revolution, as you see folk converting to a new religion. And for those who don't believe in me today... It is part of the process. [Note: I think this is a veiled threat?]

All you have heard of us is true, We are beginning to grow, We have folk all across the land, There is nothing like seeing the procession. Some resist us, yet others applaud, For they are just like us.

We move day by day, Crafting solutions, Granting all wishes, Think Strategy! Think Strategy! Oh, you are in my hands whatever should come! Let me get your vote, I beg on bended knee! Oh, you have so much yet to achieve! Be part of the success, Tell friends and fellows, They can yet join the process.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
