Oh, Valerie Plame
If that really is your name
I would just shout the same to the world

Oh, Valerie Plame
So they made a wreck of you
Give me the rest of you and I'll give the world

But you were just some silly girl
Taking in the sights of your empire's colony
So I took you into my confidence
Without a thought of consequence
To my heart or to my mind

But Valerie Plame
If that really is your name
I would just shout the same to the world

La da da da
La da da da
La da da da da da, da da da da

Oh, Valerie Plame
If that really is your name
I would just shout the same plume on high

Dear Valerie Plame
I live for that long exchange
Outside of the bureau de change in Shanghai

But I was just some stupid boy on a bus
When your nom de guerre was code-name Caroline
So my vespa became your chariot
From the green zone Marriott
To be etched upon my mind

But Valerie Plame
If that really is your name
I would just shout the same to to the world

And when they flashed your picture across the screen
How my heart seemed to leap out of me
And they attached a list of your identities
But the one you'll always be

To me

Is Valerie Plame
If that really is your name
I would just shout the same to the world

Valerie Plame
If that really is your name
I would just shout the same to the world

La da da da da da da
Hey, hey, Valerie Plame

Well see the thing is, what happened is, the vice president of the united states, mr.cheney got mad at Valerie's husband because he said there is no yellow cake uranium in Nigeria, something like that, which messed up plans for flim flamming the country into going to war on Iraq. So what this very loathsome old man did, he blew the cover of the guy's wife, who was an undercover cia agent named Valerie Plame. That's why I came her, cause i could not quite get what the song is saying.

So if it's true the guy thought it was a good name to put in a song, well, that's kind of a problem. Because what we have here is the vice president of the u.s. committed treason, for which he would have faced a firing squad not that long ago. And probably should have anyway- not just for this but many other things too.

The other thing though is it hurt Valerie very bad- really ended her career in fact. While cheney gets off, allowing this guy scooter to take the fall for him.

I like the song too. It's just i'd like it more if it did not seem to be mocking the real Valerie, which makes it sound kinda mean. I hope cheney don't hear it- he'd just laugh at poor Valerie again

You all can watch many youtubes of her testifying to a congressional committee, and talikg to reporters and stuff.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
