she's a song unsung
she's the wild orchid in your ugly swamp
she's a song unsung
and only the white walls of her mind know what that song sounds like.

the pills, the pills
and Dr.'s promises just ain't doing the trick
cause the arm's of nothing she falls asleep in
can still bring the razor to the wrist

the tv screens, the magazines
scream at you like the dogs of hell
advertising and advising you to be
anyone but your-beautiful-self

prince charming never brought you flowers,
just a loveless lifetime all alone
no roses for you, just unknocked doors
and the deafening silence of your phone.

so block your ears, close your eyes,
remember that you're a golden soul fallen from the boring, heartless, hollywood herd of lies that they call:

b e a u t i f u l.

with no shoulder, no hand, no body, no man, no door, no heart to let you:

t h e s u n c a n t a k e t o o l o n g t o e n d t h e e n d l e s s n i g h t

i hear you, i feel you, i bleed with you
when our hearts begin to scream:

t h i s l i f e c a n f e e l t o o l o n g.

but at night you're dancing through the pain
even when you're the only one.
no rose, no sky as full of beauty as the girl who dies
but rises with every morning's sun,
alone.

she dances alone
alone - so beautiful
alone - her own romance:
alone - Lady Lazarus' Life - Sustaining Dance.

This is song far better than most realize. I bought the album today and burst into tears hearing and reading the words to this song. This is me and the life I've lived they sing of. Hearing this has lifted a weight off of me nothing else ever could at its best. No Roses, No Skies speaks for generations of women and girls who have felt exactly this and never known their true beauty and importance in life. It tell us we are just the opposite of what we've been told by society to believe we are. Beautiful without product, strong without a man, and worthy of the greatest joys in life. Have Heart is one of the true leading forces in Hardcore today. Respect.

    Song Meaning

this song means more than most of you think, its not meant to be sad and cry because your life is like this, this song is about being yourself no matter what society say, and most people never show their true beauty because they are so scared of what society will say about them and sometimes it just takes one good person to change all of that. dont care what everybody else calls beautiful becuase you yourself will always be beautiful

Stay true and love yourself no matter what

    The girl described in this song is what i strive to be, positive throughout all the pain and havoc life seems to lay upoon me. To me this girl is beautiful, you can't see her and she is just a fictional charecter (maybe), but her insides and her heart are pure which makes her attractive. I strive to be a strong girl who stays true to myself even though the world around me may not like who i choose to be. Thanks Julio. I love this song. :}

    My Interpretation

It's clear that the song is about a girl that is insecure because of society, but to me this song reminds me of my best-friend/girlfriend who committed suicide when I was 15.

"she's a song unsung she's the wild orchid in your ugly swamp she's a song unsung and only the white walls of her mind know what that song sounds like." - The world is nasty, and when you're beautiful and breakable no one will hear what you have to say.

"i hear you, i feel you, i bleed with you when our hearts begin to scream:

    t h i s l i f e c a n f e e l t o o l o n g." - all the suffering she had stabbed me in the heart too, and you both just keep hurting because you don't know how to change this.

"no rose, no sky as full of beauty as the girl who dies but rises with every morning's sun." - This line makes me cry everytime I hear it...

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Head > Heels

“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.
