"Under The Same Star" as written by and Timothy William Thornton Finian Greenall....
And we're under the same stars
And that's as close as we get tonight
It only took the once to know how special we could be
if we were left alone

And we're under the same stars
And that's the same ones we were
Under last night when they were smiling on us and
We could be
Left alone

And we're under the same stars
And that's as close as we get for now and
I walk up Apple Hill and wonder where you're sleeping
Please
Left Alone

And we're under the same stars

And we're under the same stars
And that's as close as we get tonight
It only took the once to know how special we could be

And we're under the same stars, And we're under the same stars

General CommentHow come noone commented on this one??

I love Fink, and I love the great writer he is!

I think this song is about a guy who split from the one he loves because of external problems ..my guess is rumors or maybe the geographical distance. He sings about what could've been between them both "How special we could be if we were left alone", regretting a great relationship ruined because of a stupid thing that both of them couldn't prevent.

"Under the same stars" is just a way for him to find an ultimate link to that person, since nothing reunites them anymore... or maybe a reminder that nothing changed besides the "problem"
