Sweet little words made for silence not talk
Young heart for love not heartache
Dark hair for catching the wind
Not to veil the sight of a cold world

Kiss while your lips are still red
While he's still silent
Rest while bosom is still untouched, unveiled
Hold another hand while the hand's still without a tool
Drown into eyes while they're still blind
Love while the night still hides the withering dawn

First day of love never comes back
A passionate hour's never a wasted one
The violin, the poet's hand
Every thawing heart plays your theme with care

Kiss while your lips are still red
While he's still silent
Rest while bosom is still untouched, unveiled
Hold another hand while the hand's still without a tool
Drown into eyes while they're still blind
Love while the night still hides the withering dawn

Kiss while your lips are still red
While he's still silent
Rest while bosom is still untouched, unveiled
Hold another hand while the hand's still without a tool
Drown into eyes while they're still blind
Love while the night still hides the withering dawn

I don't think it's about death at all. It's about falling in love while you're young, before life happens and you don't have the time anymore.

Like this one song I read from a comic book (Fushigi Yugi:Genbu Kaiden) and it said: "Life is brief maiden, fall in love before the crimson bloom fades from your lips"

Same concept. Kiss, while your lips are still red. While you're still young.

"Rest while bosom is still untouched, unveiled" Still innocent, virginal. Unveiled or unclothed.

"Hold another hand while the hand`s still without a tool" Tool being a metaphor for a job or instrament for a job. Like a briefcase even. So hold hands while you're still kids and have the time to.

"Drown into eyes while they`re still blind" Look into each other eyes while you still only have sights for each other. Blind-Innocent. Not yet seeing the world.

"Love while the night still hides the withering dawn" Night time is party time, in the day you have to get up for work.

I love Marco's voice on this song. The song is the theme for the upcoming movie Leiksa! and seems to be a warning of the 'life is short, live while you can' variety.

Just a question, but are the actual lyrics "Unveiled on another hair"? 'Cause I've always heard "Unveiled, hold another hand"...

I think this song is about first love, and to tell someone you love them before they're gone. I've learned this lesson in my life. 'Kiss while your lips are still red', tell someone you love them before they die, before they're gone. It's about young love and first love, simply as that.

I think it's about loving while you still can, while the person you love is still around, etc. "While your lips are still red" might be referencing how when someone dies their lips turn blue.

I think it's about getting that kiss you want while you still can before death comes and takes away the redness and life in their lips. I love this song. It makes me so sad but somehow not.

okay, i understand about loving while you can, but what about the video? i'm confused... did she get married then cheat, and what happened with the 2 guys? which should she "kiss while her lips are still red?" sry, i'm easily confused...

I think the song is very closely related to the video. The story in the video is that while she is in a relationship with one guy, she falls in love with another. She then parts with the first man for the sake of the other. I think the song tells not to cling too much to an old love if you fall in love with another person. The "while your lips are still red" in my understanding doesnt mean "as long as youre still alive" but "as long as youre still young", like in the first verse: "Young heart for love, not heartache". So the message basically is: Dont be too sad about a broken relationship, but enjoy love, no matter to whom.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
