She burned me down, down to the ground
Blood though thicker than water is harder to clean up
You’ll get it in the end boy if the weapon of choice is love
Expecting it from a stranger or maybe an acquaintance
Never from family or friends though
A simple mistake and expanse
She burned me down, down to the ground

Pissed and disappointed I pray to learn to forgive
If I can’t find it in my heart then I have no reason to live

Here is an education the lesson professed is quite cruel
There are some things worse than death
And one of them is you

Every time I see her start a fire I get higher

General CommentI'm pretty sure this song is about his family making him go to rehab. He talks about it in a recent interview (early 2007), that his sisters decided that it was best for him that he go to rehab, and until he did, he wasn't part of their family.

General CommentSo...does anyone know what the hell he's saying towards the middle of the song in between repeating 'every time I see her start a fire...'?

Song MeaningShe - The Death. This song is about The Death. Every time he sees the Death (someone dying) he gets higher... means probably that when he sees someone dying, he feels encouraged- he also wants to die... To see The Death starting a fire- burning someons body- is to see The Death just taking someone away...
¨There are some things worse than death¨ Peter says, that is why he don't afraid her, because there are worse things like not to be loved by your family and friends.
And I can perfectly hear the music form the song Bloody Kisses between the words: ¨Every time I see her start a fire I get higher¨. And Bloody Kisses is about the death. Everything fits... it is about the death, I am sure... and Peter finally gone away with her...and I can't really stand it...
