it's not
so bad.
when you
look back
keep your
chin up
but don't hope for more
than you should.
We don't wait,
to be
We're okay
without big plans.
We were foolish but
we have learned.
We don't hope
for more
than we should.
It gets old
and we
get tired.

Haven't we been
too long
to know
all that was lost
when we
left our

haven't we been
too long
to miss
all that was lost
when we
left our

These are the things
(there's accidents and failures now)
that stole our urgency
(and isn't it enough to change your mind now)

General Commentthis is the final track on what I consider to be a perfect album. love this song.
I like that most of the songs on this album aren't about romance (at least not apparently), but you could interpret it that way i suppose.
To me it might be about how the band had dreams of being big and later realized that it wasn't going to happen and thats ok.
also the writer is reflecting on past mistakes and noticing how it effected him (or them) but is realizing in the long run everything has worked out for the better.

Great build, great song, great band, flawless album. if you like northwest indie type music it's a must listen.
