I've looked for love in stranger places
But never found someone like you
Someone who's smart
Makes me feel I've been holding back
An now theres nothing I can do

Cause this is real and this is good
It warms the inside just like it should
But most of all
Most of all It's built to last
It's built to last
(It's built to last)

All of our friends saw from the star
So why didn't we believe it too?
Now look where we are
You're in my heart now
And there's no escaping it for you

'Cause this is real and this is good
It warms the inside just like it should
But most of all
Most of all it's built to last

Walking on the hills at night
With the fire works and candle light
You and I were meant to get love right

Cause this is real and this is good
It warms the inside just like it should
But most of all
Most of all it's built to last
(It's built to last)

'Cause you are the sun in my universe
Consider the best when we felt the worst

But most of all
Most of all
Most of all it's built to last

its about how he and a girl have been friends for a while and everyone around them knew they were meant to be except them... he spent so much time looking for love in other places but it was right in front of him the whole time... and they were built to last :)

This song always reminds me of my bro and my best friend who are meant to be together and can't see it!!! They are friends but there's a bit of flirting in the air... I hope they'll be together one day!!!

The song brought me tons of memories when I was in high school. Though I don't think the lyrics are stunning, but there's something with it. They are true and pure without any hidden agenda. Like teenage love ;)

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
