(Four, tres, two, uno)

Listen up, y'all, 'cause this is it
The beat that I'm bangin' is delicious

Fergalicious, definition make them boys go loco
They want my treasure, so they get their pleasures from my photo
You could see me, you can't squeeze me
I ain't easy, I ain't sleazy
I got reasons why I tease 'em
Boys just come and go like seasons
Fergalicious (so delicious)
But I ain't promiscuous
And if you was suspicious
All that shit is fictitious
I blow kisses (mwah)
That puts them boys on rock, rock
And they be lining down the block
Just to watch what I got (four, tres, two, uno)

It's so delicious (it's hot, hot)
It's so delicious (I put them boys on rock, rock)
It's so delicious (they wanna taste of what I got)
I'm Fergalicious (t-t-t-t-t-tasty, tasty)

Fergalicious def-, fergalicious def-, fergalicious def-
(Def-, def-, def-, def-, def-, def-, def-, def-, def-, def-)
Fergalicious definition make them boys go crazy
They always claim they know me
Comin' to me, call me Stacy (hey, Stacy)
I'm the F to the E-R-G, the I, the E, and
Can't no other lady put it down like me
I'm Fergalicious (so delicious)
My body stay vicious
I be up in the gym just working on my fitness
He's my witness (ooh-wee)
I put yo' boy on rock, rock
And he be lining down the block
Just to watch what I got (four, tres, two, uno)

It's so delicious (it's hot, hot)
It's so delicious (I put them boys on rock, rock)
It's so delicious (they wanna taste of what I got)
I'm Fergalicious (hold, hold, hold, hold, hold up, check it out)

Baby, baby, baby
If you really want me
Honey, get some patience
Maybe then you'll get a taste
Of my tasty, tasty
I'll be laced with lacey
It's so tasty, tasty
It'll make you crazy

All the time I turn around brothas gather 'round
Always looking at me up and down looking at my (uh)
I just wanna say it now
I ain't tryin' to round up drama, little mama
I don't wanna take your man
And I know I'm comin' off just a little bit conceited
And I keep on repeating how the boys wanna eat it
But I'm tryin' to tell that I can't be treated like clientele
'Cause they say she delicious (so delicious)

So many things bother me about this song. First of all, the fact that she sampled so many other songs, including JJ Fad's "Supersonic". The line "hit it fer-gie" annoys me qite a bit, because it's so close to the original song. She could've at least given initial credit for sampling, since HER song is such a big hit. She didn't make it that far by being original, and no one is aware of that. That's just disturbing to me. Second, I know that the mispelling of "tastey" was for rythmn's sake, But it's so annoying! Couldn't she just pick a different word? I'm sure she could've found a six-letter word that gives the same effect. Someone needs to get Fergie a thesarus. Third, the word "rock". I don't think she's talking about dancing or a genre of music in this context, so "on rock" can only mean one thing. Isn't she such a good influence? In conclusion, I bet this song won't last. I hope it dosn't. Just wanted to put my opinion out there.

Ok folks! There's been lots of talk about "TASTY" being misspelled in Fergalicious and let me just lay this topic to rest (atleast on this forum). What everyone thinks is an "E" thrown in there is not actually what you are hearing. What you are hearing is actually a "broken" pronunciation of the "T". So if you had to actually spell it out the way you're hearing it (or how will.i.am. saying it) would be "tee-ee", not "T-E". You hear this kind of thing all the time in pop/hip-hop music. Breaking a word's or letter's pronunciation is common to fit the structure of the verse or rhyme. And also if you look at the actual lyric book that comes with the CD, it's plainly printed "T to the A to the S-T-Y girl you tasty". So, he is actually saying "TASTY" with a broken pronunciation of the "T". Hope this helps

It takes true talent to write lyrics as horrible as these. I really can't put it into words how much I hate this song. It's a perfect example of how mainstream pop music is so shallow.

in the beginning verses when it says "they gets their pleasures from my bozo" its supposed to be photo. yea i didnt ever kno wat she cleary said at first but i juss heard it again and it juss came in my head..hehe..ne ways it makes sense too cuz she says before that "they want my treasures..." meaning i guess by looking at her picture and get off on that. it might not sound like it but sum songs r like that when artist say stuff sloppy or fast on purpose. juss thought i would let ne1 who reads the lyrics kno.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
