Oh shit x4

They ain't ready for this
Oh
It's me, Fergie

When I come to the club step aside
Pop the seats don't be havin' me a line
VIP cause you know i gotta shine
I'm Fergie Ferg and me love you long time

All my girls get down on the floor
Back to back drop it down real low
I'm such a lady but I'm dancin' like a ho
Cause you know I don't give a fuck so here we go

How come everytime you come around
My London London Bridge wanna go down
Like
Londy-londy-londy wanna go down like
Londy-londy-londy we goin' down like
How come everytime you come around
My London London Bridge wanna go down Like
Londy-londy-londy wanna go down like
Londy-londy-londy we goin' down like

Drinks start pourin' and my speech start slurrin' everybody start lookin' real sure
That Grey Goose got your girl feelin' loose
Now I'm wishin that I didn't wear these shoes
It's like errytime I get up on the juice
Paparazzi come and put us in the news

And I'm like 'get up out my face'
'Fore I turn around and spray your ass with mace'
My lips make you wanna have a taste
You got that? I got the base

How come everytime you come aorund
My london london bridge wanna go down
Like
Londy-londy-londy wanna go down like
Londy-londy-londy we goin' down like
How come everytime you come aorund
My london london bridge wanna go down
Like
Londy-londy-londy wanna go down like
Londy-londy-londy we goin' down like

Ahh, la, da da da
Ahh, la, da da da
Doo doo doo

When I come to the club step aside
Pop the seat don't be havin' me a line

YES, THIS IS SUPPOSEDLY A FERGIE SINGLE, but as TABOO AND WILL.I.AM ARE IN IT, I POSTED IT TO THE BEP PAGE AS WELL

There is a good chance there are errors in these lyrics. I transcribed to the best of my ability, but missed out on some of the shouted stuff in the background and some of the softer stuff she says between choruses. If there are any changes, just leave a comment here and I'll be sure to edit as they're receieved.

I've listed my full interpretation on the posting of the song under "Fergie," but it doesn't take a genius to see this song is a harsh criticism of the Bush administration.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
