One day when I came home at lunch time
I heard a funny noise
Went out to the backyard to find out
If it was one of those rowdy boys
Stood there with my neighbor called Peter
And a Flux Capacitor
He told me he built a time machine
Like one in a film I've seen, yeah

He said
"I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed, but they lived underwater
And your great-great-great-granddaughter
Is doing fine"
(Doing fine)

He took me to the future in the flux thing
And I saw everything
Boy bands, and another one, and another one
And another one
And girls there with round hair like Star Wars
Float above the floor

We drove around in a time machine
Like one in a film I've seen, yeah (ohh)

He said
"I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed, but they lived underwater
And your great-great-great-granddaughter
Is doing fine"
(Doing fine)

I took a trip to the year 3000
This song had gone multi-platinum
Everybody bought our seventh album
It had outsold Kelly Clarkson
I took a trip to the year 3000
This song had gone multi-platinum
Everybody bought our seventh album (seventh album, seventh album)

He told me he built a time machine
Like one in a film I've seen, yeah

I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed, but they lived underwater
And your great-great-great-granddaughter
Is doing fine
Doing fine (whoa)

He said
"I've been to the year 3000" (yeah, babe)
"Not much has changed, but they lived underwater" (oh-ohh, yea-yeah)
"And your great-great-great-granddaughter" (granddaughter)
"Is doing fine" (doing fine, yeah, doing fine)

He said
"I've been to the year 3000"
"Not much has changed" (not much)
"But they lived underwater" (water, yeah)
"And your great-great-great-granddaughter, is doing fine"
(Doing fine)

He said
"I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed, but they lived underwater
And your great-great-great-granddaughter
Is doing fine"
(Doing fine)

Whoever thinks busteds verion is "perverted" are utter PRUDES. I mean the only lyrics that the Jonas brothers changed were mainly the bit about the tripple breasted women swimming around town naked... err thats not bad at all... and the changes the jonas brothers made are so unsubtle, you can totally tell when they sing which lyrics sound totally out of place. Also what is WRONG with saying your great great great granddaughter is "pretty fine"? yeah sure it might be a bit pedo to say that but this song isnt supposed to be serious really is it? and saying who wrote the song must have a "sick twisted mind" o dear... how old are you? like 10? that the normal age for jonas brothers fans right? cause I mean they can't even mention PG 13 stuff in their songs. Im sure life will have so many other shockers to throw at you so if u cant handle the relatively tame busteds version of year 3000, I seriously pity you and encourage you to grow the fuck up. I also agree with that the jonas brothers should write their own stuff... and a lot of you seem to be under the impression that the Jonas brothers write all their own stuff... news flash.. they dont. fair enought hey may write SOME of their songs but they've even said themselves that they only wrote a few of their songs and got with some writers to write others.... so dont be in shock when you find out a song your listening to is not a JONAS BROTHERS ORIGINAL.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
