Their comfort amazes me
Numbered and placed as drones
How our spinal cords are breaking their fall
Diamonds pressed and morphed to feed me pills

The status quo - Ahh
I should've noticed
Slightly unfocused - on you

I should've known
You're cleverly brilliant
I should've known
I should've known all along.

Treat you more as a leper
Feeding more than some method

Cataclysmic chaos must occur for his return then...
Please wish it now - all on yourself
so that - we may - enjoy - Christ in you.

I should've known
You're cleverly brilliant
I should've known
I should've known all along.

Treat you more as - a leper
Feeding more than some method
Feeding more than some method

Ahhh-ahh- ahh ahh ahh ahh
Ahhh-ahh- ahh ahh ahh ahh
Ahhh-ahh- ahh ahh ahh ahh
One by one we fall

Turn this into gold
So I can count it.
Turn this into gold
so I can count it.

Treat you more as a leper
Feeding more than some method

Ahhh-ahh- ahh ahh ahh ahh
Ahhh-ahh- ahh ahh ahh ahh
Ahhh-ahh- ahh ahh ahh ahh
One by one we fall

Where did this come from? Is this an unreleased track or a demo from the "Into The Half Moon" days?

It was a bonus download track when "The Autumn Effect" was purchased from Best Buy back when the album came out.

    Thanks, Entity.

I managed to find it last night and I've been listening to it since... It's beautiful, I can't believe they left it off the album. The meaning, however, still alludes me. The lines:

"Cataclysmic chaos must occur for his return then... Please wish it now - all on yourself so that - we may - enjoy - Christ in you."

Are very confusing. I can't tell if Jesse was being sarcastic, or trying to make the point that spiritual revelation only comes from turmoil.

Regardless, an amazing track. Any 10 Years fan deserves to hear this.

Hey what do you type in as a keyword to get this song?

Obviously "Pacemaker" by "10 Years" would be logical, but it doesn't show up on LimeWire. Do you use a different music downloader? Or do you use different keywords? Thansk for the help

i think mabey they left this one off because of some of the subject matter, and they figured the real hardcore fans would eventually download it anyway

just an idea here, but mabey its about christians and the return of chirist, and i dont think jesse is talking about chiristians ina good way here. "Their comfort amazes me, Numbered and placed as drones" he could be talking about christians there, i dunno.

"Cataclysmic chaos must occur for his return then... Please wish it now - all on yourself so that - we may - enjoy - Christ in you." refering the the return of christ in the bible, mabey, just an idea.

I'm not sure, but maybe this song is about greed "Turn this into gold so I can count it" and "One by one we fall" sounds to me as if they killing eachother over gold? Just an opinion.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Magical

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
