Eyes are magic
See right through me
Makes me feel like
A girl in a fantasy
Turned to real life
Stars in the morning
Makes me feel like
A girl in a fantasy
Turned to real life

Now I'm glowing
Like a sunset
In the window
Of my dreams
That turned to real life
I'll never forget when
For the first time
A girl in a fantasy
Turned to real life

[Chorus]
Makes me feel like
A girl in a fantasy
Turned to real life
I'm a believer
For the first time
I can be beautiful
A girl in a fantasy
Turned to real life

Your fingers running
Over my body
Makes me feel like
A silver angel
Under the moonlight
Right beside me
Makes me feel like
A girl in a fantasy
Turned to real life

[Chorus: x3]

:] it's about that one person out there that makes life worth living. metaphors and all, simulated life becomes real life.

just because a girl is singing this doesn't make it about being lesbian. it bugs me how everyone drags homosexuality into this bands songs weather they are or not. while theres evidence for that it could be her just seeing herself happy being with this guy.

whether or not she's singing about a man or a woman she's saying this person has made her feel so good that she feels like a subject from one of her fantasies turned real:

"Makes me feel like A silver angel Under the moonlight

Makes me feel like A girl in a fantasy Turned to real life..."

It may be a simple song but it has a lot of emotion and meaning behind it. i'm surprised this one doesn't have a million posts.

to me it should be turnED to real life becuase she is saying that she's like a fantasy but it has turned to real life.

i think it's clearly about her first lesbian expeirance. it's slightly referanced to in other songs, more obvious in 'the weather girl'. it's about how she finally feels right with herself because she has found the right person, forfilling her fantasies with a girl "I'll never forget when For the first time A girl in a fantasy Turned to real life" when you read those by itself it's more obvious.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
