I wish you could lose yourself sometimes and be
All the things that I remember from your history
I wish you could lessen your grip and let go
Of your life and all the things you know...

I will be the one to lead you
If you listen I will teach you
All the ways that I can make you come alive
I will be the one to take you
From the lies that almost break you
From the days and nights you wonder why
Just trust in me I'll make you come alive...

I wish you would stumble, trip, and fall on through
To that other someone speaking up inside of you
I wish you would take some time and just take care
Not to lose the person you find there...

I will be the one to lead you
If you listen I will teach you
All the ways that I can make you come alive
I will be the one to take you
From the lies that almost break you
From the days and nights you wonder why
Just trust in me I'll make you come alive...

What ever happened to the one I knew back then?
The way you'd fight for all of the things you thought
Were right and always said, "Just stand up tall for
All that you believe in all the time and life will
Work out fine for you and me... you'll see..."

So I will be the one to take you
From the lies that couldn't break you
From the days and nights that passed you by
Just trust in me I'll make you come alive...

I will be the one to lead you
If you listen I will teach you
All the ways that I can make you come alive
I will be the one to take you
From the lies that almost break you
From the days and nights you wonder why
Just trust in me I'll make you come alive...

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
