Have you ever heard the sounds
In the shadows of a song
Have you ever felt the words
Blow right through you from beyond

'Cause years pass and people change
Bluer skies could turn to gray
Though it's gonna hurt for now
Every ship must sail away
Every ship must sail away

Oh change is in the air
And you wear it all so well
I asked you if you cared
If you care I couldn't tell

'Cause years pass and people change
Bluer skies could turn to gray
Though it's gonna hurt for now
Every ship must sail away
Every ship must sail away

Though it's gonna hurt for now
Though it's gonna hurt for now
Though it's gonna hurt for now
Every ship must sail away
Every ship must sail away
Every ship must sail away
Every ship must sail away
Every ship must sail away

Change is a constant. There's no point in trying to resist it. Gotta go with the flow even if the flow are a bunch of mindless shep. At the end of the day, people do the wrong thing to avoid being a social outcast.

Sheep? Really? I think its all about letting go and saying goodbye. It is about change tho. I wouldnt say constant change, but I would say change in general. Loss of a loved one. I dunno. Music is so great because everyone always has their own opinions. For me 98% of the songs i listen to have some sort of a "love" meaning. Either receiving giving or losing. Ah well. Thats what I think of the song. I dont even remember where I heard this from but from the second it started I really liked it. Catchy lines too.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
