Caught up against the wall again
Time to check in the bar again
You never seese to amaze a mind
So i can sleep sleep sleep
Please don't

Wake me til the morning after
Wake me til the morning after

Cut and kicked by the fall again
Lick my cuts like a dog again
Is that a light at the end of the tunnel
That I see I see
Please let it be but don't

Wake me till the morning after
Wake me til the morning after
Wake me til the morning after

Oh I'm so tired
That there has got to be an end
To the pain I feel within
Awaken alive
Alive
Alive
Alive and I'm dreaming
Oh, oh oh

Caught up against the wall again
Time to check in the bar again
Is that a light at the end of the tunnel
That I see I see
Please let it be but don't

Wake me til the morning after
Wake me til the morning after
Wake me til the morning after

Oh I'm so tired
That there has got to be an end
To the pain that I feel withing
I'm alive
Alive
Alive
Alive and I'm dreaming

This is not a Grey Daze song. Chester wrote this on tour while in Europe. I hate when people assume it's Grey Daze because of the sound quality....grrrr.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
