I'ma pimp
You can check my stats
And rollin' a Fleetwood that's how I mack
I rock all the tracks

So the world knows
I love all the girls
Smack all the hoes
Show love to those who come real with it

Life's a bitch but I deal with it
I'm in it to win it like Yzerman
Could drink about 15 Heinekens
I'm not born again

But if I was I'd ask to come back with a little more love
Puffin' a Winston
Drinkin' a four-o
Kid rock, and I'ma let you know

I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking smoking thinking trying to free my mind
I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking smoking trying to free my mind

It's been a couple of months in this smokey room
Eaten shrooms drinking Boones writing tunes
And hoping to get one of these mother fuckin' songs to hit

A little bit of love that's all I need
A little inspiration and a bag of weed
A seed to plant so my tree can grow
You know I left my girl 'cause I need that hold up

Wait a minute I'm about to flow
Like a breeze through the trees you can watch me blow
Puffing a Winston drinking a four-o
Kid Rock and I'm gonna let you know

I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking smoking thinking trying to free my mind
I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking smoking trying to free my mind
Oh yeah
Huh, oh yeah
Free my mind
Ooh, yeah

Come on, oh, oh,
Wow

I ain't no rough guy
Ain't no tough guy
Don't get out much and don't dress up fly
Born in the game that's all I am

Giving all my duckets to Uncle Sam
Fuck it
I'm free to do what I please little lady
I was born at night but not last night baby

I've been around, seen some things
I slept in dumpsters, got high with kings
I don't bring much, ain't gotta lot to say
But I got more time than Morris day

Puffing a Winston drinking a four-o
Kid Rock and I'm a let you know

I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking smoking thinking trying to free my mind (free my mind)
I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking smoking trying to free my mind (smoking and drinking)
I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking smoking thinking trying to free my mind
I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking smoking trying to free my mind
Wasting my time
Hey, I'm smoking
Hey, I'm drinking
Trying to free my mind
I've been sitting here just wasting time
Drinking
Smoking
Trying to free my mind

This song is about a person who has been dogged a bit but is telling everyone that he is still here. At points he is letting everyone know that success is the best revenge. I just like this song because on a mentally challenged day I can sing the chorus and start to feel better.

All I know is that any rap song that can sample Fleetwood Mac and make references to Steve Yzerman and Morris Day is well worth a listen. Great song!

Fun tune. All about just hanging out and having fun. Not living up to anybodys expectations. Just being themselves, And enjoying life.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
