Come and lay right on my bed, sit and drink some wine
I'll try not to make you cry
And if you'd get inside my head, then you'd understand
Then you'd understand me
Why I've felt so alone, why I kept myself from love
And you became my favorite drug
So let me take you right now and swallow you down,
I need you inside

If we had this night together
If we had a moment to ourselves
If we had this night together, then we'd be
Unstoppable

Do you think that this is right, or is it really wrong
I know that this is what we've been wanting
And all this is burning in my soul, it fills up to my throat
It fills up till my heart is breaking

If we had this night together
If we had a moment to ourselves
If we had this night together, then we'd be
Unstoppable

Now, we can both learn
Somehow, you'll see it's all we have
Love, it keeps us together
And I need love

When I wake up without you, knowing you're not there
I'm only feeling half as good
Well I'm gonna find a way
To wrap you in my arms, you make me feel alive

If we had this night together
If we had a moment to ourselves
If we had this night together, then we'd be
Unstoppable

This song is the epitome of wanting what you don't have. You crave it; have to do whatever is needed to get it. You want and want and want, but don't have. All you need is one opportunity, and you'd make the most of it. [Ashleigh, if you're reading this, know that I miss you, kitten.]

...the Calling was cool until they got overplayed... now i'm so freaking sick of hearing their songs all over... i hope this song doesn't get popular... nothing ruins a song like overplaying it on MTV... i heard one of the band members is Jason Wade (from Lifehouse)'s step-bro.... does anybody know about that? as for this song... i really dig it. it's the only total kick butt song on camino palmero... it's about wanting and wanting and wanting someone (like baby jane said)... i love the passion in Aaron Band's voice when he sings the chorus...

I love this song. Everytime I hear it, I picture a guy dancing with a girl in the middle of a crowded room. They both want and love each other but they can't be together, because she has a boyfriend. And he's in the back of the room, watching their every move, about to break them up any second. But the moment they share, in the middle of the dance floor while this song is playing, is completely theirs and no one can't take it away from them. This song expresses everything that he can't say to the girl he loves.

hey, no angel.... yeah, his step brother was in The Calling but now he's left to be in Lifehouse, but now they have a new member called Dino. And it's Alex Band.... Aaron Kamin is also in The Calling and he writes the songs with Alex. Just wanted to clear that up. And I think this is one of the best songs on the album, it's got so much atmosphere. The Calling rock!

This is about Alex having a gay affair on his girlfriend. This song is about his night of passion. 'So let me take you right now and swallow you down' meaning giving a blow job and 'I need you inside' is about Alex getting fucked up the ass. 'If we had this night together, then we'd be Unstoppable ' O.O!

I think it's about the situation, such as you want a boy/girl, to make him/her yours, to be together this night. And you're getting to be like a crazy of the lust. It's a great song. It's powerful and rock!!! I I agree with no angel, that it's not good, if a band becomes full-known, cause than I won't be able to relate their songs anymore. There must be some personality and intimacy between you and a band, and think, that there's just you and your favourite band on the world. And it's not possible, if the band or a song is too known and everyone likes or dislikes, but knows, and thinks something. I like the unknown bands and songs, what I hope, that I discovered it firstly, and I can think, it's my own.

this is a great song :)

And yes it annoys me when songs get overplayed, too.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Led Zeppelin
This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
