Am I The Only One? Lyrics
I see that nobody mentioned more than that this song was to Ed's brother. It was originally about his future wife (they married June 1994), but when his brother died in a motorcycle accident, he changed the meaning. Also, one might think that the song is a solo song until the part where Jim comes in with the violin (?).
i can see that you might think its a solo song but if you listen closely, Jim is playing his bass throughout, and there is a faint shaker in the background. also the chorus includes backing vocals. nevertheless, this song is great if you need to set the mood at an open mic night or any acoustic venue.

This song was written by Ed to his brother...I wrote an interp a while ago which is too long for this but can be found here...hopes this helps :)
This song was in Disney Channel’s “Tru Confessions”
He also sang it on tv (rdi i think) while Kurt Browning skated in a stars on ice thing.

so simple, quiet, acoustic, soothing.......
Love me and only me, please...
this is the only song i've ever listened to and cried. it was during that disney movie too, tho i'd heard the song many times before. good directing there.
What do you mean Mutant?? Steven Page for president!!!
Wow, wrion, you actually cried? that's so ... unusual. For this song though, I'm not surprised.

sarahmansour, i meant that it seemed like a song, that was...well. as if someone was worried that their significant other was unfaithful. but when AgntJello said it was to his brother, i see it different. and wrion, i cried too.
