"R.A.M.O.N.E.S." as written by and Ian Fraser/taylor Kilmister....
New York City, N.Y.C.,
Pretty mean when it wants to be,
Black leather, knee-hole pants,
Can't play no high school dance,
Fuzz tone, hear 'em go, hear 'em on the radio,

Misfits, twilight zone,
Are-A-M-O-N-E-S, are-A-M-O-N-E-S

Bad boy rock, bad boy roll,
Gabba gabba, see them go,
C. Jay now hit the gas,
Hear Marky kick some ass,
Go Johnny, go, go, go, go
Tommy o-way-o,

Misfits, twilight zone,
Are-A-M-O-N-E-S, are-A-M-O-N-E-S

Bad boys then, bad boys now,
Good buddies, mau, mau, mau,
Keep it up, rock 'n' roll, good music save your soul,
Dee Dee, he left home,
Joey call me on the phone.

Misfits, twilight zone,
Are-A-M-O-N-E-S, are-A-M-O-N-E-S

General CommentThe expression "Marky takes it up the ass" could mean 2 things:-
    1. Literally - in which case the singer is just winding him up as I don't think that Mark's gay.
    2. On stage the drummer is in the background behind the other band members. Therefore, he takes to the stage in the background "up the ass" if you like.

General Commentok actually theres 2 versions of the song.

The one C.J. sings it says "Mark takes it up the ass"
the one Joey sings it says "Hear Marky Kicks some ass" that should clear it up.

General CommentForget about Marky taking it up the ass...Sheesh! It is a tribute from Motorhead to the Ramones. Both bands played loud, hard, energetic. Lemmy was showing his respect to the band.

General CommentI love this one :D
But ... isn't it "Dee-Dee where he wants to be" not "Pretty mean when it wants to be"? It'd make more sense that way.
