She lies there,
Covers her mouth and says,
I think I'm hiding,
She goes down again,
Says she's fine and cries,
There's nothing that's left for me

I'm leaving, I'm leaving

I don't wanna fight with you no more,
You can come and bang on my front door,
I won't be there, I won't be there,

You're singing yeah,
ooohhhhhhhh, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

She stands up a while,
Turns the t.v. down,
But there ain't nothing that, nothing that she can find,
Windows don't always open, when you're lying there in the dark

I'm leaving, I'm leaving

I don't wanna fight with you no more,
You can come and bang on my front door,
I won't be there, I won't be there,

You're singing yeah,
ooohhhhhhhh, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

She lies there,
Covers her mouth and says,
I think I'm hiding,
Windows don't always open, when you're lying there in the dark

I'm leaving, I'm leaving

I don't wanna fight with you no more,
You can come and bang on my front door,
I don't wanna fight with you no more,
You can come and bang on my front door,
I won't be there, I won't be there,

You're singing yeah,
ooohhhhhhhh, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
You're singing yeah,
ooohhhhhhhh, yeah
You're singing yeah,
ooohhhhhhhh, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
You're singing yeah,
ooohhhhhhhh, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

General Commentthis song is actually by Pete Francis, who goes by the name Pete Heimbold when he sings with dispatch. His songs are more mellow, but every bit as good as dispatch. Burning the river and carry you are also his songs. I'd suggest downloading them to anyone who can.
