The irony of life
it is so messed up
everytime I find what I want
I have to give it up
so I guess we will never be
because

Liz we are two worlds apart
and maybe someday
our worlds will collide together
and we can be
just you and me
together, forever
under the stars

our worlds are different in many ways
in mine it is always grey
in yours it is bright and sunny
in mine i sleep in the rain
you always feel the cool wind
blowing on your face

Liz we are two worlds apart
and maybe someday
our worlds will collide together
and we can be
just you and me
together, forever
under the stars

nah nah nah nah nah...

Gravity pull us in
we are drifting
i see you floating away
come back
i can't spend another day in this world
i just can't live
without your warmth on my face
and your smile that blocks the rain
but

Liz we are two worlds apart
and maybe someday
our worlds will collide together
and we can be
just you and me
together, forever
under the stars

This song is about me! I'm LiZ! I swear on everything. I Love this song and it perfectly fits the situation. I Love this band and and Someday everyone is going to know them! and I can say I knew them before they were famous. Mike Sailor Is great at writing songs. He is going to be the next Chris Carrabba...

hey everyone. i hope you all enjoy our songs. i am the guitarist in the group, believe me or not, i dont care, but this song is about me and liz, (above) and she lives in one place, and i live in a nother, and we were having doubts about dating, and the distance doesn't matter anymore, its not like an hour drive or something, but still. we have lives but we are giving it a chance, and the song represnts that we like each other so much, but the distance is driving us apart. peace if you want exclusive info on our band when demos are coming out e-mail me fakeskaters@aol.com----- scrupplesdead.tripod.com liz you are the beauty of my life. call me babe

This song to me means that he is taking his dog to the vet. The dog is crying about it and what not. "Liz we are 2 worlds apart, maybe someday our worlds will collide and we will be just you and me together foverever under the stars." Amazing. The next Chris Carabba.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Led Zeppelin
This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Head > Heels
Ed Sheeran
“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.
