Linkin Park – Bleed It Out Lyrics 12 years ago
I think this song is supposed to somewhat inspire people. It talks a lot about death, and I kinda feel that it's saying "live life before you die." It's written in a more negative view so as to give the feel of "Hey, don't do what I did." It could also be about a past relationship or major mistake

I think that's it's not just anti-Bush, but anti-corruption...

A Day to Remember – I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What are You Made Of? (feat. Mike Hranica) Lyrics 12 years ago
Granted, it may be cliché, but the classics work :P

I think it could be about a past relationship, personally. They finally broke up and what not, but she thinks that it's still worth it to bear a grudge against him and is trying to ruin his life, but in reality, it's the other way around.

System of a Down – Sugar Lyrics 12 years ago
It's kinda hard to give System of a Down songs a meaning, because they usually don't have any. But my best guess (because even high people have a somewhat logical thought process), it would be talking about how the world is out of control, and he feels that he's the only sane one left.

I also agree. It's not necessarily about emos, but just people in general, specifically those that like to hold grudges and whine about life.

We Butter The Bread With Butter – Intro Lyrics 12 years ago
Well, seeing as there's not lyrics, there can be no meaning; and there generally isn't a very deep purpose with any of this band's songs anyway. But they don't need an awesome meaning; their guitar solos say it all.

We Butter The Bread With Butter – Der Kleine Vampir (English) Lyrics 12 years ago
First of all, it ought to go more like this:
"I do not know what to put on,
Oh man, I'm like a woman!
Maybe this with that,
Or that without this,
Or this with this and that,
This and That, or with that?"
It also ought to be "I'd much prefer to drink the blood of Buffy," as opposed to how it's currently translated

We Butter The Bread With Butter – 13 Wünsche Lyrics 12 years ago
So many things wrong with this. "It what gescheh'n" should actually be translated more like "What's wrong with that?" (directed to anyone who has a problem with a screamo singer gallavantng through the meadow). "There was a cow," not "Da 'was a cow," though you probably figured that out already. Quite clearly it ought to be "magic animal," not "animal magic." "Not first...second..." in the bridger needs to be just a simple "Not one, not two." As for all the other mistakes, it's close enough.

We Butter The Bread With Butter – Das Monster Aus Dem Schrank (English) Lyrics 12 years ago
I'm not a fan of Google Translate; it's more literal than cultural, and very bad at literal translations at that. "Kinderlein" means little children, and it's supposed to be "blanket," not "roof" in the second chorus; Google made this mistake because 'roof' and 'blanket' are said as "Dach," literally translating as 'cover.' The English translation is rather confusing because German has a far different sentence structure than English does, so I won't fix everything; I'm sure you can figure it out yourself.

We Butter The Bread With Butter – Alle Meine Entchen Lyrics 12 years ago
On the contrary. It's actually a play on a German lullaby, so instead of singing about the ducks swimming and pigeons flying like the original does, it talks about pouring gasoline into the lake and making the ducks his supper.

Also, it's supposed to say "Oh my," not "Hola." And there's than one "for yourself" through out the song

Shinedown – Sound of Madness Lyrics 12 years ago
I kind of think that this song is similar to "Lights Out" by Breaking Benjamin. It seems to me that he is singing about a person who he's probably tried to help out before, but whoever it is decided not to heed him. Now he's coming back crying, asking for the help that the singer was willing to give before because he realized his mistake, but at this point the singer is saying, "Hey, man, you had your chance. Now you're on your own, just like I was." A further interpretation could be that the singer was on his own BECAUSE of this person. Just my thoughts....
