A friend told me a story about this song but I don't know how true it is but ill share it anyway. She told me the song was the true story about a man who wanted to leave his wife and when he finally decided to do it , he found that she had taken her own life. | To me this song is about some one who has lived a difficult life and has searched for love from a male companion and has been wronged in doing so. Yet, she refuses to give up on love. I think this is one of the best Hootie and the Blowfish songs. Don't get me wrong, all of their music is GREAT!! but this one is in my top 10 faves. Very sad song. | |
