The Presidents of the United States of America – Jennifer's Jacket Lyrics | 12 years ago |
totally thought it was about a vagina too. my mom thinks that the presidents wrote it for/about a little girl. Little kids always seem to hang on to clothes until they're falling apart at the seams ;) |
The Presidents of the United States of America – Vestina Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Yeah it seems sorta like somekinda love song about a prostitute. don't sell your sex! give it directly to me! vestina i love you! vestina I do! |
The Presidents of the United States of America – Boll Weevil Lyrics | 12 years ago |
lollll @ constipation. I always thought it was about a stoner who just sat around at home being lame. Idk. |
The Presidents of the United States of America – Jennifer's Jacket Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Liitle drunk... but this sounds like its about somebody's vagina. O.o |
The Presidents of the United States of America – Kitty Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I'm sure that they sexual innuendo was at least SOMEWHAT intentional - I mean the sexual, seductive sound of the song is part of what makes it fun and sounding good. But I betcha its literally about a cat haha. These guys are just wacky. they seem to care more about making fun music and putting on a fun show then putting out a "message" |
The Presidents of the United States of America – Fuck California Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I don't think the meant that San Bernadino was near Oregon, It sounds more to me like they are travelling back home. And I doubt they REALLY have anything against Cali, but they're a Seattle based band, and they were probably home sick! Seattle rules :D |
Streetlight Manifesto – Sick And Sad Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Want your mind blown? Go to youtube and watch some of the videos where he does this song acoustic then sings "the big sleep" and then "Somewhere in the between" Godly. The crowds are so amazing. |
Streetlight Manifesto – On & On & On Lyrics | 13 years ago |
They lyrics are godly. The inclusion of Canon in D with the vocals overlayed ontop is godly. Streetlight is Godly. Tomas must be god :O |
Streetlight Manifesto – Just Lyrics | 13 years ago |
First comment! haha. Anyways I don't know this song but I love the obvious reference to "Smells like Teen Spirit" Different chord progression/key of course, but I'm sure he plays them with that strum pattern to reference the song. Love it. |
Streetlight Manifesto – Such Great Heights (The Postal Service cover) Lyrics | 13 years ago |
The opening horns are amaaaaaazing here. The ability to play like that is incredible. Just try althernating claps with another person... so damn hard. Now try playing trumpet at the same time. Damn amazing. |
Children of Bodom – Antisocial (Anthrax Cover) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Anybody else notice how alike the keyboard solo in this song and the solo in the "clash of the booze brothers" are? Awesome cover, love the keyboard after the main riff, before the lyrics come in... gives it a great feel. |
KoЯn – Kiss Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I dunno, when I hear the last "Why you always push me away"... So hears my take on it. Jon is dying. He's meeting his maker. "I feel the blood, drip off the body as it pools right there" He feels that god is to blame for all his hurt "The places I have ran to all my life have disappeared, And I owe this all to you," But he understands that though god is his salvation. It's like, at first, he's asking why god pushes him away, but in the end, it's god asking him the exact same question... Btw, I'm an athiest lol. Great song, terrible album. They didn't even have the freakin decency to name it. |
Lamb of God – Redneck Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Why the fuck would you look up a Lamb of God song just to hate on them? troll elsewhere faggot. |
Lamb of God – Redneck Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Hmmm that explanation for the video makes sense. I like the irony. |
The Beatles – Penny Lane Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I LOVED "ummm..."s interpretation! Idfk if its right or not... its just BA! Also, i have no freakin idea where downing street is, dude |
Children of Bodom – Tie My Rope Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I really do like Keraunoscopia's interpretation, but for me its more about how sometimes the world is "out to get you," (as opposed to wanting to commit suicide, the "world" is trying to "hang" you). Nobody really wants you to succeed, and even though some of the mistakes might be your own, you will still fight your way through and "survive" |
Children of Bodom – Done With Everything, Die For Nothing Lyrics | 15 years ago |
...yup... my thoughts on this song too. who the FUCK cares. also. First post. |
Children of Bodom – No Commands Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I feel like a douchebag... but agian, whoo, first post. |
Children of Bodom – Talk Dirty to Me Lyrics | 15 years ago |
woohoo... first post... |
Children of Bodom – Blooddrunk Lyrics | 15 years ago |
WheIt sounds like they are hoping when they die, all their fears and pains go away, same thing happens when you drink. |
Children of Bodom – Hate Crew Deathroll Lyrics | 15 years ago |
That is hands down the deepest thing I have ever heard said about Bodom/Alexi. As well thought out as that is, and as much as I wish it were true, I don't think Alexi puts that much thought into his lyrics. I think it is very simply, I hate you, I hate you, and I love hating you. But still, an interesting view. |
Marilyn Manson – Lamb Of God Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Spitfir4... will you marry me????? |
Apocalyptica – Path Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Isn't music amazing?! It can make us feel such amazing emotions, without even having any words!!! i still think its funny that theres a lyrics section for this. Why the hell is this listed as instrumental. hahahahahhhaaa. wow sigh |
Apocalyptica – Struggle Lyrics | 15 years ago |
ha |
Children of Bodom – Trashed, Lost & Strungout Lyrics | 15 years ago |
It's most dewfinately about betting drunk and whatnot, but to me it also sounds like alexi is struggling with his sexuality. what whith: You know I can't go the other way without being trashed, lost, and strungout When together try something, going back to the question, Whats to coming out? "I can't go the other way" "whats to coming out?" " And alexi prolly is bi, at least. wasnt he married for a while? |
Children of Bodom – Banned From Heaven Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"to kill me by your left toe"? wat??? but anyway that would be really cool if this were about alexis sins, but i dont think he's really apologizing for anything. |
Three 6 Mafia – Lolli Lolli Lyrics | 15 years ago |
But why else would you call someone "Lolli?" Like I said i dont listen to rap but ive never heard someone called lolli, and couldn't chocolate, vanilla, cherry, and pink just be more allusions to skin tone, and the color of "other" parts of the female body?? |
Children of Bodom – We're Not Gonan Fall Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Anywhoo, ive looked all over, and all the sites agree. the say "contation" as far as i can tell, thats not even a word. any thoughts? |
Children of Bodom – We're Not Gonan Fall Lyrics | 15 years ago |
man this is an amazing song I think it is kinda like the whole "fuck everyone against us and what we stand for thing" btw, love the name, Korn Cob, my two of three fav bands!!! |
Three 6 Mafia – Lolli Lolli Lyrics | 15 years ago |
lmao, yah, im a MASSIVE /b/tard. rofl |
Three 6 Mafia – Lolli Lolli Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I can't believe i'm the first comment. I don't listen to rap, i'm hardcoar deathmetal, but i had to comment on this cuz last i checked "loli" (not, not LOLLI) was short for "lolita" meaning a sexually attractive underage girl. so when i heard it i thought it was, "loli loli pop that body" i was sure it was some kind of pedophiliac remark what do you guys think? I'd love to see a discussion happen here peace |
Marilyn Manson – Doll-Dagga Buzz-Buzz Ziggety-Zag Lyrics | 16 years ago |
... I'm prettty sure its "burlesque," not "burlesk." ya |
Marilyn Manson – This Is Halloween Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Marilyn Manson – 1996 Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i pretty much agree to what every one else is saying. sarcasm and whatnot. i just wanted to say that theyr some fucking AMAZING lyrics and i really wish i could write like that. oh and by the way, im new to the site and find it quite kickass. nice to mee u all. |
Flobots – Handlebars Lyrics | 16 years ago |
and just to prove how awesome this song is, i listen to deathmetal and this is the one rap (or is it hip hop? i really dont know) song that i like. down below it it said, "Users who like Flobots, The, also enjoy... Incubus, KoЯn, System of a Down" and KoЯn is like my second fav band ( or was, theyve changed too much) |
Flobots – Handlebars Lyrics | 16 years ago |
ya, thats kinda how i saw it. for me, the "no handlebars" part talks about freedom and growing and getting better, and maybe greedy for power. the two start off as young, dreaming boys, (comic books, platypus). as they grow older, one takes the business man route (and im pretty sure you can see symbols in the vid for each kid, on the signpost, and in the background) the other stays poor. however, the business man becomes corrupt with power, and the poorer man fights the corruption. is that what u might call peotic justice? the poor man fights for good, the rich man who gets what he wants but is evil. and it all started with no handlebars... |
