Regarldess of what people think of Nickelback, they put out music that alot of people like, and in concert they NEVER dissapoint. I saw them with Chevelle a few years ago in Atlanta, both bands were amazing. Chevelle was better, but only because Chevelle is my favorite rock band. Anyways I think alot of people can relate to the tag line. This is my favorite song off the new album. I enjoy listening to every one of the songs on the album, but when this one comes up, it gets repeated at least 3 times :) the melody and Adams singing work amazingly well in this song. Its relatively easy to play on a guitar as well, making it a great one to play for someone special. its a great song with a beautiful meaning and i love every second of it. |

I dont have a significant other in the military, but i do have a lot of friends who are, and i can understand where this song comes from. one of my best friends in the whole world is being deployed to kuwait in a few months, and when i hear this song i think about how he will feel being away from his wife, and his family. it just makes me vision soldiers being away from their loved ones, and then i realize how much we owe those who protect us and how proud i am to say that some of my friends and family are in the military. this is a beautiful song, and God bless the troops

They are a good band, as are A7X, and Slipknot. they all have their strengths...
Joey Jordison pisses on ANYONE on the drums...Synister Gates destroys on guitar(ps. watching him play live is one of the 7 wonders...) and pete wentz is a good songwriter. all of these bands have their strong points and i enjoy listening to each of them...
and yes i know im gonna be flamed for saying synister gates is amazing, and yes i know there are better guitarists out there, but i am making a point so STFU.
