Bryan Ferry wore an outfit similar to the one Humphrey Bogart wore in Casablanca to many of his [Ferry's] live performances during the early-to-mid-seventies, as well as on the cover of his second solo album, "Another Time, Another Place". I didn't notice this until I realized that this song was about Casablanca and Humphrey Bogart.
Additionally, the band, "The Madness" have a song on their 1988 self-titled album titled, "2 B.F.", which seems to be about, or dedicated to, Bryan Ferry. |

I believe this song is about Bryan Ferry, or, at least, dedicated to him (the title is a reference to a Roxy Music song, "2HB" -- "to Humphrey Bogart", in this case, "4 B.F." would be "for Bryan Ferry"). |

To the ignorant fool that said the song is a cover: it's not. White Town only sampled the trumpet. The song it's sampled from, "My Woman," is about a man in love with a woman that treats him like terribly [She's lying when she says I love you/ I know it, but what am I to do/ She makes me cry, but I don't care for I love her].
