Freddie Mercury – How Can I Go On Lyrics

Yeah, it's very sad. I get depressed when I listen to it because it's so easy to understand. Despite getting depressed, it's like my favorite Freddie solo song. I wish it was just him on vocals, but luckily I have the demo to listen to which just features him!!! |

Queen – Another One Bites The Dust Lyrics

it's a disco styled song. It is actually popular with the 'ghetto' folks in the cities. Before the single was released in the USA, disco and funk DJ's in the black neighborhoods, would play this song. |

This song sucks. In fact, rap sucks. The people who like rap suck as well, they act like they are from the ghetto. |

Queen – I'm Going Slightly Mad Lyrics
|
When it was recorded, it was around the same time all the songs on the Innuendo album were recorded. The video is far in time, but according to many websites, this was filmed before Headlong (the parts where Freddie was in a yellow sweat shirt).
Freddie was dressing as someone in I'm Going Slightly Mad. Even press photos of Freddie during the summer and fall of 1991, Freddie looked better in those photos, than he did in I'm Going Slightly Mad. It was the over dose of make up. |

Best rock song in the world.
It's hard to believe it failed to even make the top 200 in the US, but Body Language made #11. |

Queen – Innuendo Lyrics

Excellent song, specially the explosive version (12" Version), because after Freddie says "till the end of time"... there's an explosion as if the world is ending, by a bomb. Cool.
For a single that wasn't even released in the USA, it made #17 on the Radio Charts in the US. Most songs that arn't released on single arn't even on the top 200 of that.
Freddie wrote most of the song according to Brian. Roger hated key changes and there are many in this. Even one key change, Roger would cry about. But Freddie love lots. People assume roger, due to drum beat. But that's like saying Brian wrote Princes Of The Universe because it's guitar driven, but it was Freddie who wrote Princes. |

Queen – These Are The Days Of Our Lives Lyrics

And Freddie wrote The Hitman, on the piano, and Brian transcribed the piano to guitar, and sung the vocals on the demo to see how it sounded.
And, actually, according to Brian, Freddie wrote most of the music in the track, Innuendo. It had many key changes and Roger didn't write songs with key changes. Breakthrough had how many key changes? one? And Roger hated just that. Let alone many in Innuendo. Some of the lyrics were Freddie's as well. Especially the middle section. And all the music was written by Freddie. |

Eminem – Puke Lyrics
|
My favorite part of this song, is the fact that the drums and beats are from the song "We Will Rock You" by Queen.
Eminem's manager went to Brian May's house in England, and talked to him and Brian got a kick out of it. The stomps and drums arn't in the same order as We Will Rock You, but they are the same. Brian wrote this on his official site (Brian is the lead guitarist of Queen)... they also did Another One Bites The Dust and We Are The Champions.
Brian also stated, Queen and Eminem are discussing a project. |

The J. Geils Band – Centerfold Lyrics

Great song. I agree. One of my favorites by J. Geils Band.. They got great rythems in their music, very genious as well, musically. Excellent lyrics too.
Specifically about this song, I wonder if it's true. It'd be funny if it was. Imagine seeing a girl you know in a playboy or something? A girl who I went to school with, I found a photo of her with her pants down, with two other girls. |

Freddie Mercury – Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow Lyrics
| 19 years ago
|
Yeah, I agree. It is the saddest love song I know. It's what I listen to when I'm in pain about a relationship. Doesn't make me feel better, as it's quite negative, but, it's what I listen to.
Funny how we all listen to negative songs when we are sad? We should listen to positive songs to make us happy, but we don't. |

Freddie Mercury – I Was Born To Love You Lyrics

Great song from 1985.. much better than when Freddie's band 'Queen' re-did it for "Made In Heaven"... Freddie's original vocals are on the Made In Heaven version, but guitaring, drumming, etc is added, plus some lines from "Living On My Own" |

Queen – The Show Must Go On Lyrics

Brian said it's co-written by himself with Freddie. The lines "My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die
I can fly - my friends " are for sure Brian's, as he has said. |

Queen – Headlong Lyrics

Wrote by Brian. Supposedly, the video to the this, (With Freddie in a yellow sweat shirt piece), which was on a stage in the studio, and Freddie jumped around, was only a month before "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" was filmed. Thus is what many things claim. |

One of the original lines from the original version Freddie made were "I could hammer it in your ass anytime"
But, it's basically about any type of sex. Straight, gay, or groups even, or a mix. |

Queen – A Kind of Magic Lyrics
|
The reversed word is "magic"... Freddie I think said in an interview they reversed it and added it in there, to make it actually make a song that'd remind you of magic.
Despite being a Roger track, Freddie sent Roger on holiday to the US (I think the US), and Freddie re-did it. The version on Highlander is Roger's idea. The album version, with the heavy bass, is Freddie's idea. Less guitar too. |
