Maybe it's about communists but I think it is about people or media, especially tabloids, looking for any sensation. They accuse people just to provide entertainment to their audience. So if you'll do something that may be controversial they'll make a witchhunt, telling people that you are what you're not. And they can accuse almost anyone so this is like drawing straws.
