I believe this a song about his relationship with his mother. When kids are little they would do anything for their mother, becasue they believe their mother would do anything for them. When we become teenagers we become upset when we don't get what we want and often blow this out of proportion making such claims as our parents don't love us ("you led me on"). Also I believe this is from the teenage perspective of wanting to break free becasue it talks about "growing by the hour". This tone has darker themes too, such as "I was born to destroy you", which could possibly be an allusion to the species of spider that kills its mother shortly after hatching. The line "so unafraid to die" may be about the cockiness, arrogance, and ignorance of teens and the reckless things they do.
