I first heard this song right after reading an article about someone with an addiction to crystal meth and was like, wow this song describes all of the symptoms that were in the article (trouble sleeping, shaking, food doesn't have taste). So yeah, my thoughts are that it's about drug addiction.

I always thought it was about having an extended flu or some similar illness, and just feeling "out of it." Several months ago I had a bad winter flu, and this song pretty much summed up how I felt.
atreyu?? i dont get it what is he referring to? and i most definitley think he is referring to withdrawls cuz of a drug addiction. It fits all too well. . its crazy how the song seems to have such a light and happy sound yet it seems to be about a subject so intense and not-happy as drug addiction.
