haha what great lyrics! it rings so true for me, and I'm a girl. none of us appreciate things that are given to us easily--it's human nature. but at the same time, the guy singing this song is a total bastard.
I think it's a song about a guy who who's more and more attracted to a girl who doesn't like him.
Surprisingly alot of men respond better to a woman who offers a challenge, and almost acts the BITCH. This is my perception of such a r'ship. Often women who invest more of their heart, turn into mushy pushovers... when they should retain their strength... men love confidence and innner strength.
