GG Allin was as real as any musician I have ever seen. He was truly a man who lived by his own rules from beginning til the end....the rest of you spine jockeys could be so unlucky!

if you think that about him you obviously know little about him, all these wannabe shock bands.....gwar, rammstein, arent shit compared to him, i admire this guy so much, unlike bands today, he stuck to an idea, and he stayed, he didnt care what you thought, or what anyone thought, if he thought you fucking sucked, well, he thought you fucking sucked, he opened the door for alot of people.

There is nothing wrong with using shock tactics to keep the audience on their toes and to get people to take notice, but with GG Allin, shock tactics was all there was. The actual music lacks any quality at all.

first off gg allin is rock n roll. "fuckyouall" claims he did what he did for shock value and to sell records.. GG didnt even sell alot of albums and all that stuff he did and the stuff he sung about was his fuckin life man... It wasnt fake or a joke.. it was his life.. I respect him alot becuz everysecond of his life he did exactly what ever the fuck he wanted. Can any of you say that? RIP GG.. Now this site is called " songmeanings"... thus.. Bite it you scum in my opinion is just a big fuck you to everyone.. it was gg's anthem..

the etymology of the word "punk" is rooted in prison lexicon. a punk, by definition, is a guy at the bottom of the prison food-chain, a guy who allows himself to be so debased that he winds up immune and outside of the system. GG Allin is the definition of the punk philosophy. his stage show wasn't theatrical, it wasn't fun, and his music was beside the point - GG was a punk, perhaps the truest since Iggy Pop.

I found out about GG through Chad of CKY, man, I wish I didn't. This guy may be what rock and roll should be about, but last I checked, it was also about actually playing and singing well. There is no underlying meaning at all to any of the songs, and very little thought/musicianship went in at all. Face it GG fuckin sucks.
