On a short part,
Of the long march home
With the trail that swells (?)
In a small space.

There's no breath,
There's no ventilation.
Cause there's too much traffic,
Telepathic traffic.

Traffic.

Get depressed with the best
It's lost, after the disaster
Cause you're sure,
But it doesn't strike a cord.

If I can't see it,
And if we don't need it,
Cause there's too much traffic.
Telepathic traffic.

Traffic.

There's no breath,
There's no ventilation.
No breath,
There's no ventilation.
No breath,
There's no ventilation.

On the television,
Stereo vision,
When everything slips
You're the only one who sticks.

On the _____________,
There's a short wave.
Just so you can take a short trip
On a short wave.

Television,
Stereo vision,
When everything slips
You're the only one who sticks.

On the ____________,
There's another wave
Just so you can take a short trip
On a short wave.

It's hilarious to see how many sites rip off this one (if this is the original, which I'm now doubting ...) Every version of these lyrics online includes the blanks in "On the ____" - lol.

I'm gonna hazard a guess it's "On the beltway"? It's sounds like [something]-way, and it sounds like it starts with B. Beltway is the only word I can think of that makes half sense. And half sense seems about right with AoL.

"On a short part / Of the long march home" is wrong. It's hard to tell what's right, but the last word there is "lost" (or something else that ends with "_ost" or "_ossed") not "home." There's no "_ome" sound. And the "part" in the first line actually sounds like it ends in "_ark" like "park."

It sounds like "On a short park / Of a long parks lost" which makes zero sense, but there you go.

"Cause you're sure / But it doesn't strike a cord" should be "If you're sure / but it doesn't strike a chord"

    LOVE THIS SONG.
