This song is about a crazy person, locked up in an insane asylum, who is much more worried about his faithful companion Veronica, a dog confined in the local dog pound, presumedly sentenced to die because her master is unable to reach her... because he, himself, is confined...

This song meant a lot to me when I had a dog that had severe separation anxiety!! I went to work everyday and the dog would bark and holler and I was his only friend! Veronica..what a great name for a mutt though!! Tc
