Ladybug Lyrics

Ladybug, ladybug, ladybug
Kisses the bones pushing through, yeah
Everybody here seems to be in their heads but me
Twitching, twisting
Beyond alone spiritless and out of context
Ultraviolet bleed
Everybody's eyes seem to ooze from their faces
And now the sun sets in reverse

The devil's gonna dream when he gets home
Of ants upon the bone, yeah
Germs on public telephones

Ladybug, ladybug
Kisses the bones pushing through, yeah

Swaying with this wicked city
Twisting and turning with you, yeah

Everybody's eyes seem to ooze from their faces
And now the sun sets in reverse

Ladybug, ladybug
Kisses the bones pushing through, pushing through

Swaying with this wicked city
Twisting and turning with you
Turning through, yeah...

The devil's gonna dream when he gets home
Of ants upon the bone
Germs on public telephones

Ladybug, ladybug, ladybug
Kisses the bones pushing through, pushing through
Ladybug, ladybug, ladybug
Kisses the bones pushing through
Pushing through

Probably, yeah. Sometimes I get the feeling that the majority of Daxs' songs are about plain old madness and paranoia. I'm sure that a loony would have a phobia of public telephone germs. The devil does too in this case. =)

Have to correct myself. The devil has been out all day creating corpses and putting germs on public telephones. He's satisfied with the work that he's done and so he dreams about it later on? Maybe "the devil" is just a metaphor for a really bad man. Plenty of those in NOLA. It definitely is a twisted city. One last thing. There's a big contrast between a ladybug on bones and ants on bones. The ladybug would definitely seem out of place there. They don't feed on corpses, do they? Maybe it IS just about an acid trip.......
